Entertain New England at 2014 Turnaround Of The Year Award Gala Recognizing 2013 Boston Red Sox at Seaport Hotel Boston

On the evening of Cinco de Mayo, Entertain New England LLC (ENE), working with Blue Sky Sports & Entertainment, was a proud part of the inaugural Turnaround Of The Year Award Gala, held at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.

The Commercial Finance Association, New England Chapter (CFA) and the Turnaround Management Association of New England (TMANE) combined to honor the Boston Red Sox as their award recipient, for the team’s astounding turnaround 2013 season, as well as for its notable contributions to the New England community during an unsettled year.

All proceeds from the award gala, totaling more than $56,000, were donated to the Red Sox Foundation and the Ron Burton Training Village.

ENE provided a lively classic rock and baseball inspired musical soundtrack for the evening, emceeing services during cocktail hour in the grand foyer and award dinner in the Seaport Hotel’s Plaza Ballroom, and perimeter uplighting in the ballroom, also.

Ben Cherington, Red Sox G.M., accepted the Turnaround of the Year Award from TMA Northeast President Jim Fleet and captivated an audience of more than 350 Boston area business leaders with the story of events leading to the Red Sox 2013 World Series Championship. Ron Burton, Jr., Ron Burton Training Village president, and Class of 2003 Red Sox Scholar, Lois Gordon, on behalf of the Red Sox Foundation, both shared personal stories of change and renewal.

Event donors had the opportunity to pose with the Boston Red Sox World Championship trophies, and Wally the Green Monster made a special appearance at the ENE DJ booth early in the evening.

It was a pleasure working alongside the always amiable and professional Dan Busler of Dan Busler Photography, who is credited and thanked for this sample photo array from the award gala.
