Today, snow fills the sky in New England like confetti filled the air yesterday following the climatic conclusion to Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona, where the New England Patriots secured yet another championship, this time over the Seattle Seahawks.
As fans throughout New England and the Patriots themselves reflect on the past season with wide smiles, and Boston prepares for another celebratory duck boat parade, the team here at Entertain New England also smiles fondly at the memories of the past couple of years. Team ENE has been entrusted to to work with and alongside the charismatic (and talented, of course) members of the hometown Super Bowl Champions on several occasions.
For the past two years, ENE has been the pro bono entertainment sponsor of Mayo Bowl, the annual charitable celebrity bowling tournament hosted by New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo and his lovely wife Chantel, held at Kings Dedham at Legacy Place. In 2013, the event benefited both Boston Medical Center and Pitching in for Kids, raising big money for these fine organizations and their initiatives. In 2014, Boston Medical Center was the beneficiary.
As part of its continued efforts to support charitable efforts in the Greater Boston community – especially those that serve to benefit the lives of local children – Entertain New England has been proud to donate audio-visual services, event emceeing, musical setting, and photo station services to the Mayo Bowl in years past, and looks forward to doing so in the future.
In addition, at private events and other large fundraising galas, ENE has been fortunate to work with the likes of three-time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady (video of our time with Brady is here on our homepage) and defensive icon Vince Wilfork (on multiple occasions), among others. We’ve served as event hosts, fundraising auctioneers, musical atmosphere designers, and more.
Being lucky enough to spend considerable amounts of time with many of these players, we can assure New England Patriots fans out there that your favorite players are some of the most giving, down-to-earth, and humble Boston celebrities. We hope you have the good fortunate to meet them sometime soon, if you haven’t already, at one of the countless charitable event appearances they make each and every year.
Not only on account of their performance on the field, but also on account of their character off the field, the players deserve this chance to hold the Vince Lombardi Trophy high one more time.
Congratulations, New England Patriots, from the whole team here at Entertain New England!
