Are you a Superhero or Super Villain?
A couple of weeks back, Team ENE helped host yet another SUPER weekend experience for families on Cape Cod, at the Cape Codder Resort & Spa in Hyannis.
The Cape Codder is visited and enjoyed annually by tens of thousands of tourists, both international and local.
Non-Stop Action from the Start
From the moment hundreds of parents and children began arriving early Friday afternoon, they were immersed in an experience befitting a superhero. An enormous super hero themed balloon sculpture created by ENE greeted guests in the lobby, as they checked in for a weekend of unparalleled fun, crime-fighting, and adventure.
Shortly after check-in, the resort’s kid-friendly team began helping the children create items needed to become superheros, including masks, capes, and more. The first night ended with an action-packed movie that pumped up the kids and families for Day Two.
Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting
After families enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the on-site Hearth ‘n Kettle, Team ENE kicked everyone back into high gear with an interactive improv theatre comedy experience. Our two energetic actors took to the stage, and took suggestions from the crowd’s pint-sized superheroes and super villains, to create a series of hilarious, engaging, and memorable moments for the children and their parents.
After lunch, kids underwent super hero training focused on fine-tuning their speed, agility, and other skills necessary for battling the less-than-desirable elements, and they were awarded with graduation certificates for their efforts. The children had their faces painted and received balloon art pieces, in preparation for the Save the World scavenger hunt.
The entire weekend culminated in an ENE-styled Super Heroes & Villains Dance Party on Saturday night. With a red-carpet and ENE grand balloon arch entrance, the future do-gooders posed for photos with two giant balloon characters and skyscraper-like balloon columns, and then battled archenemies on the dance floor, with a featured skirmish presented by the costumed resort team, and line dances, games, activities, and a costume contest, all hosted by ENE.
All the while, ENE hosted its popular green screen photo station, too, where families and super kids themselves posed in front of the city they’re proud to serve and protect. Guests then were able to share their photos right there on the spot via social networks including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and email.
Super Thanks & The Future
Hero-worthy round of applause to the all of the families that came out to have fun with us, to the Cape Codder Resort & Spa, and last but certainly not least, ENE Team member Dan Staples whose mastery of balloons and always upbeat, outgoing nature made the experience one that won’t soon be forgotten.
